Seriously, the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan is probably the best opening scene of any film. It gets you sucked into it so fucking amazingly. Hell, it's so fucking accurate and "in the shit" that some WW2 vets that saw it had to leave the theater due to trauma. The rest of the film is pretty good, but that opening scene is god tier.
